West Bank Tours was founded by Mahmoud Masri, Barnabe
Geisweiller and Lisa Arnold.
Mahmoud Masri has lived in the West Bank his entire life. He
has an intimate understanding and knowledge of its history. He
has worked for many years with foreigners both as a guide and
as the volunteer coordinator for Project Hope, an NGO working
in Nablus. He was a paramedic for the Union of Palestinian
Medical Relief Committees, providing first-line medical care to
injured people throughout the Second Intifada. He has attended
many international conferences as a Palestinian representative
for Project Hope and the Palestinian circus Asirk Asaghir, and
has visited Europe many times as a circus trainer and
performer. He is fluent in both Arabic and English.
Barnabe Geisweiller is a Canadian political science graduate
(With Distinction) from Montreal’s Concordia University. He
trained in the prestigious adventure tourism programme at
British Columbia’s Thompson Rivers University, and holds
many tourism related certifications. He is an avid world traveler
with experience working in many countries. He is fluent in both
English and French, and competent in conversational Spanish.
Lisa Arnold is an American who resides in the West Bank. She
is a recent English Literature graduate from Lewis and Clark
College in Portland, Oregon. She is an avid world traveler with
experience working in many countries. She is fluent in both
English and French and conversational in Arabic and Spanish.
All our guides and translators are professionals with many
years of experience under their belts. Our company is founded
